Ron Lawrence, viola
Violist Ron Lawrence, an original member of Cuartetango, has performed and recorded with the genre’s main figures, including the tango productions of Leonardo Suarez Paz and Tanguera, under the direction of Lisandro Adrover. A veteran of crossover string quartets and chamber groups, he has played with the Orchestra of St. Lukes, Sirius String Quartet, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and Dave Soldier Electric String Quartet, appearing at the Koln Music Triennale, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Moers Festival and other venues.
